My Amazon Prime Day Haul — July 17th, 2016

Prime Day/week was so amazing I have to show you some of the deals I picked up in these incredible sales! This should show you how much you can save just by visiting this website! ? This is a bit of a long post too – probably the longest haul post I have done.

So many amazing deals – and so many boxes and also I probably saw 7 different delivery people in the past couple of days! Here’s what I got in these amazing sales. I didn’t buy anything all through June and I saved a lot to really spoil myself through the sales. Note: Many of these deals are not available any more.

I grabbed the Waterpik Aquarius Water Flosser, WP-660 for $42.99 while it was on sale for the Amazon Prime Day deal of the day, but it is now $70.48 (reg. $99.99) and [unavailable]. If you’ve never experienced one, it’s like a pressure washer for your teeth. I had a dental cleaning on Friday morning and the dental hygienist was pretty happy with how clean things were, she barely had 15 minutes of plaque removal work before she declared she was finished. Money well spent. 🙂

I also grabbed the iRobot Roomba 614 Vacuum Cleaning Robot when it was on sale for the Amazon Prime Deal of the day for $249.99, now [unavailable] since the price is now up to click link to see price. It works so well, cleans under all the furniture (so I didn’t have to move my bed) and even got all of the dust bunnies underneath my bed. Admittedly the vacuum is very loud and it is the base model so there’s no remote control or schedule but I am still so happy with it. I have always wanted one!

Tip for Pokemon Go players: Tape your phone to your Roomba (as in above photo) and you’ll hatch all your eggs and have a clean house! 😉

Also from the Prime Day sales I snagged the Gillette Venus Embrace Bundle (Razor Handle + 6 Total Refills) while it was on sale for $10.87 after coupons and discounts! This is now [unavailable] since the price is up to $25.96 (reg. $30.43). I always grab these deals on razors because Gillette and other companies like to make us pay $3/blade so when they go on sale, which isn’t that often, I like to stock up. I also give them to guests too when people stay over and forget to bring things like razors.

• Philips Sonicare Essence Sonic Electric Rechargeable Toothbrush, White – I paid $19.95 after a $5 off coupon and it is now $185.73 without coupon so [unavailable]
• Fandango $50 Gift Card – I paid $40 for it during a lightning deal! This is going to be an excellent 20% discount on the Ghostbuster’s movie when I get time to go out next.

I was lucky enough to find on sale during all of the lightning deals this really gorgeous Platinum-Plated Sterling Silver and Swarovski Zirconia Round-Cut Antique Pendant Necklace, 18″ for just $12.77! If you have followed this blog for a while you know how much I love shiny jewelry and this one was much bigger than expected and very beautiful. Amazon has free returns on jewelry, shoes and clothing so if I hated it I could return it for FREE for a full refund, but I love it so no chance in that. The photo above doesn’t even do it justice!

One of the first things I bought when all of the deals went live was I grabbed an Amazon Echo and a Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote which turned out to come to JUST $134.98 with my additional $30 off Amazon Visa discount and $65 off lightning deal prices!

That’s a total discount of $95 – I don’t know why people think that the Amazon Prime membership isn’t worth it at $99/year, my total discounts during this one day sale alone made the membership worth it 10x over!

Also pictured above is the Nivea Body In-Shower Skincare Gift Set which I got in the Prime Day sales for $5.44 and that discount is now [unavailable] since the current price is click link to see price.

Amazon ran a Buy $50 of Gift Cards, get $10 of Amazon credit promotion that only lasted about half the day but I managed to get in on this one. Since you can redeem the gift card to your own account here, it was a no brainer to get $10 FREE Amazon Credit! Hopefully we will see this promotion every year. 🙂

Not a very glamorous deal, but useful, Amazon has a lightning deal on the Rolodex Mesh Round Wastebasket, 11-1/2 Diameter x 14-1/4 H, Black (22351) which I paid $7.99 for and it is now $23.91. I think that it is such great value when you get the things you need for your home at such a low price.

I really loves the beautiful sparkles on these two Rebecca Minkoff Multi Glitter Leo Envelope Clutches, but I couldn’t decide which color I wanted so I just grabbed two of the most beautiful ones at a 30% off Prime Day discount. They’re beautiful, but once they came I really realized that I don’t use flat envelope bags a lot so I will probably just return both with free return shipping and get a full refund. They’re both really beautiful but I can’t see myself keeping something I will just never use enough to justify the cost. (I am still on a budget!)

Like many of you guys, during Prime Day I also snagged the AMAZING deal on the Lysol Clean & Fresh Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Cling Gel, Ocean Fresh, 24 oz, Pack of 4 which after Prime Day discounts turned out to be less than $2.50 for the whole lot – here’s a summary of discounts that I got – I am quite proud of this deal!

I am so proud of this next deal! I scored these Babyganics Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer, Mandarin, On-The-Go, 50 ml (1.69-Ounce), Pump Bottle (Pack of 6) for the lowest price EVER of JUST $1.78! [unavailable] Typically goes for around $17 or $8 when on sale so under 2 bucks was a spectacular find! 😀 Many of you guys grabbed this one too so I hope you are as thrilled as I am.

Also in the Prime Day Lightning Gift Card sales, I scored this Jiffy Lube $50 Gift Card for a 20% discount! My car needs an oil change every couple of months and it can get kind of expensive so whenever I see these on sale I just buy them since it is a 20% discount on something I am going to end up using anyway!

Also on Prime Day, I grabbed the Quaker Instant Oatmeal Weight Control, Variety Pack, Breakfast Cereal, 8 Packets Per Box , 12.6 Ounce (Pack of 4) for JUST $5.44 shipped after discounts! Now [unavailable] of course. The boyfriend was very happy to see this Amazon box come as it is his favorite breakfast and he is trying to lose some weight.

This deal came available kind of late in the day for Prime Day, but I did mail it out on the mailing list and if you were smart enough to come back you scored a 20% off discount on ANY book sold and shipped by Amazon! Now, [unavailable]. Since I am a comic book geek (which you can probably tell by the Spider-Man poster in the background of all of my haul photos), I spent my 20% discount on the book Graphic Ink: The DC Comics Art of Darwyn Cooke which has been on my wish list for months. I have been waiting for the price to come down so this was an awesome deal. It’s really thick too and I can’t wait to sit down and look through it. 🙂

For the past couple of weeks I’ve been trying out Amazon Prime Fresh and during Prime Day Amazon has a 50% off sale on select groceries. At 3am I ordered a whole tons of veggies, yogurt, salmon and more that would have usually cost around $100! Darn right I stocked up and it was delivered that very day. 🙂 Below are a few items I got.

Savings on healthy food – I didn’t expect that for Amazon Prime Day! A little later in the week I will make a post on my experiences with Amazon Prime Fresh as well as a choice of whether I will choose to extend the service beyond a free trial, which will make it $3.45/week – not bad for grocery delivery.

• Reynolds Wrap Aluminum Foil, 200 Sq Ft – I paid $5.05 in the Prime Day sales but it is now [unavailable] at $11.99 (reg. $14.49)
• Babyganics Biodegradeable Dryer Sheets, Lavender, 120 count – I paid $2.37 in the Prime Day sales but it is now [unavailable] for that price since it is $19.85
• Sanford Uni-Ball Vision Elite Stick Micro Point Rollerball Pens, 0.5mm, 12 Black (69000) – I have had my eye on these pens which I love and make my handwriting awesome for quite a while. I paid $9.09, but they’re now [unavailable] for that price since they’re back up to $21.99 (reg. $38.49)
• Gillette Venus Spa Women’s Razor, 1 Razor Handle and 2 Razor Blade Refills – With coupon and S&S discount I paid $3.77 and they’re [available] at a discount price of as low as $5.47 when you clip the $3 coupon here and check out via subscribe & save!

In the post Prime Day sales, Amazon offered up half price on select Aerosoles shoes! This was a perfectly timed sale for me as I have no comfortable high heels and so many wedding still to attend this year. I grabbed about 4 pairs at half price and these are the two that turned up so far. I will return the pair on the right for a full refund with free shipping because they were too large when I tried them on.

I wore the snake skin pair yesterday and though the buckle rubbed a little on my toe they were completely comfy! I am only ever buying Aerosoles high heeled shoes from now on. What have I been putting on my feet for fancy occasions up until this point???

All of my bathrooms had run out of hand soap so I snapped up the deal on Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Liquid Hand Soap, Rhubarb, 12.5 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 3) when it became available! With coupon and subscribe & save I paid $6.34 for all 3, but since the coupon isn’t live any more this deal is now [unavailable] for this price. I noticed a lot of you guys grabbed it too so I hope you like the scent as much as I do. 🙂 I bet my guests will love it!

This deal is actually still [available]! I am very happy with these and I bet kids will be too since it’s pasta in cheese and tomato sauce. I will also donate a few of these cans to the can donation bins which have just sprang up at my work place.

Lastly, this one just came 10 mins ago! I got the Hoover FH50150 Carpet Basics Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner for JUST $98.90 but it just climbed a little higher in price to $167.99 (reg. $239.99). I’d say it is still a deal even if it isn’t the lowest price ever.

I’ve lived in my current apartment for 4 years and professional cleaning for the carpets is $65/room. 🙁 It’s now at the point where if I walk around barefoot in my apartment for an afternoon my feet will be covered in dirt. I’ve been looking for a good carpet cleaner and after reading the reviews I was sold. A couple of you guys got this cleaner too so I hope you will be equally impressed. Are you guys still with me? Probably took me 2 hours total to write this post but I am so happy with everything I got! Here is the carnage of boxes that you usually don’t see. Remember to be courteous of whoever does the recycling – if it isn’t you.

I live in an apartment complex where the Maintenance guy (who is an older and lovely gentleman) has the responsibility to take them from the trash room to the curb every Friday morning so I try to consolidate and help out as much as possible. Make sure your Amazon boxes don’t bother other people! 🙂
