Redeem Your Loose Change at Coinstar for Amazon Gift Cards!

Redeem Your Loose Change at Coinstar for Amazon Gift Cards!

Every little adds up. That’s the key thing to think about when trying to lose weight, pay down student loans or save for a house. I almost never use actual cash but when I do I put the coins in my coin bank at the end of the day. The above represents two years of this habit.

Today I finally decided to take it to the coinstar machine at my local grocery store and exchange it for an Amazon gift card. With Amazon and finding deals I can make these coins go a lot further than they would at the grocery store that’s for sure! 😉

$139.91!!! Wow! That’s my next 6 or 7 Prime Pantry orders! 🙂 It’s a nice extra savings boost – especially when you just save it incrementally and don’t think about it too much.

I am very excited to snag some deals with it. 🙂 With all the deals I post ~$140 can take me pretty far!

My Amazon Haul, April 24th 2015

Amazon Packages 2Recently I began sharing the items I have snagged when the deals have been HOT! Here are some of the items I managed to pick up in some of the recent sales.

Unfortunately none of these deals are currently available. If you really like or need an item you have to snag it as soon as it is at a deal price.

Mastering the Art of French Cooking (2 Volume Set)

While it was on sale, I snagged the Mastering the Art of French Cooking (2 Volume Set) for $34.79 (reg. $99.95) mentioned here [unavailable]. I loved the movie Julie & Julia so I have happy to now own this set. Cameo from the flowers my boyfriend gave me in the photo. 🙂

Thug Kitchen: The Official Cookbook: Eat Like You Give a F*ck for $12.49 (reg. $24.99).

In all their book sales Amazon also had Thug Kitchen: The Official Cookbook: Eat Like You Give a F*ck for ONLY $6.18 (reg. $24.99) [unavailable]. Lots of you guys snagged this book too! Were you as surprised as I was that the book was vegetarian? (I didn’t mind, I am vegetarian. 😉 ) But in all honestly I was also looking for meat recipes to make for my boyfriend, no worries though, I do have my Julia Child cookbook. 🙂

The author states that the reason for making the book vegetarian was that Americans consume twice the meat a year that is recommended and that high volume meat consumption has been linked to high rates of cancer. I thought that was interesting.

Thug Kitchen: The Official Cookbook: Eat Like You Give a F*ck for ONLY $6.18 (reg. $24.99)

Mmmmm peach grilled salsa burritos! I was a fan of the straight forward and colorful language in the book as well as the delicious recipes and it really outlined how to keep a good kitchen stocked full of fresh supplies. Can’t wait to make the time to cook some of these delicious recipes.

Nunn Bush Men's Cumberland Wing Tip Oxford, Black

Last Saturday Amazon had half price dress shoes as their deal of the day and I grabbed these Nunn Bush Men’s Cumberland Wing Tip Oxford, Black for my boyfriend for only $42.79 (reg. $85.00) [unavailable]. He’s so happy and impressed with the quality and the size fit perfectly.

 Adidas Men's One Love Boardshort

Lucky boyfriend also got a sweet deal from another deal of the day last Saturday where you could get 50% off Adidas swimwear. He needed some new boardshorts so I grabbed these Adidas Men’s One Love Boardshorts for just $22.95 (reg. $58.00) [unavailable].

Adidas Men's Pacific Volley Swim Short, Black/Red, Medium

If you are still interested in a deal on Men’s Adidas swimwear you can still snag these Adidas Men’s Pacific Volley Swim Shorts in many colors and sizes for $24.99 (re. $54.00),

It feels like I actually grabbed more deals than I did but that’s because the really awesome deals are in my next subscribe & save order coming May 10th. 🙂 Make sure that if you really want a deal that you snag it right away as Amazon prices change so frequently.

Did you snag any of these too or have something to say? Leave your comment here. 🙂

My Amazon Haul (4/2/2015)

Amazon Packages 2Recently I began sharing the items I have snagged when the deals have been HOT! Here are some of the items I managed to pick up in some of the recent sales.

Anchor Hocking Glass Bowl Set – 10 pcs $15.97 (reg. $29.19), BEST Price!

I snagged these Anchor Hocking Glass Bowl Set – 10 pcs for $15.97 (reg. $29.19) when they were mentioned here [now unavailable]. I will let you guys know when they go on sale again. I was very impressed by the quality of the glass. And the tiny bowl was so cute. 🙂 I am going to use it for wasabi.

FREE Zweet Marshmallow, Strawberry!

I also snagged the FREE Zweet Marshmallow, Strawberry when it was mentioned here [now unavailable]. I know a number of you snagged these too so I hope you are also impressed with how large the bag is!

Prime Pantry Order

Here’s my most recent Prime Pantry order along with my messy counters. 🙂 I have been addicted to my new bread maker recently so I had to order Bread Flour and I used my $5.99 Prime Pantry No-Rush shipping credit to get free shipping on the order. The Bread Flour was actually half the price of the normal Amazon one.

I also threw in some water and some paper towels as heavy and large items are always such a bother to carry home from the grocery store that I walk to so it’s much more convenient to get them delivered.

Amazon’s April Fools Prank!

Amazon's April Fools Prank!

If you go to the Amazon homepage today it may have been replaced with what’s above which is what Amazon.com looked like around 1995. Love this prank! Very cool. Don’t forget it is April Fools today so don’t believe any stories until midday. 😉
